Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, yourself, from Plan & billing. We ask one question about why, and may show one alternative — you can ignore it and cancel on the same screen. No phone call, no waiting on a reply, no email required. Cancelling stops all future charges; your access and API keys keep working until the end of the period you have already paid for, then keys pause. They are not deleted — reactivating restores your workspace.
If that page is ever unavailable, email billing@esportsodds.gg — a cancellation email is effective on the day you send it, and we will confirm.
The free trial
New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required up front, but it is not charged while the trial runs. Cancel at any point before the trial ends and you pay nothing at all — there is no charge, so there is nothing to refund. If you don't cancel, the card is charged $99 when the trial ends and your first month begins.
The trial includes 1,000 requests, counted across the whole trial rather than per month. Requests past that return a 429 until you subscribe — subscribing from your dashboard ends the trial immediately, starts the paid period and lifts the allowance to 20,000 requests / month.
Pausing instead of cancelling
If you are cancelling, we may offer to pause your plan for one to three months instead. While paused you are not charged, and your workspace, saved settings and API keys are kept exactly as they are.
Your API access is suspended while paused— keys stop authenticating until you resume. Billing does not restart on its own: we email you before the date you picked, and nothing is charged until you choose to resume from Plan & billing. You can cancel instead at any point during a pause.
Retention discounts
We may offer 25% off if you are cancelling because of price. On a paid subscription that applies to your next three invoices; during a trial it applies to your first invoice. The price returns to the standard rate automatically afterwards — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to remember.
One retention discount per account in any 12-month period.
Refunds
- First subscription, first 14 days:if the product isn't what you expected, email us within 14 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full.
- Renewals:renewals aren't automatically refundable, but if you cancel within 72 hours of a renewal charge and made no meaningful API usage in the new period, we'll refund it on request.
- Our fault:extended outages or a billing error on our side are always refunded or credited — you don't need to argue for it.
- Comped accounts: a small number of accounts are comped — no card on file, nothing charged, so nothing to refund.
How to ask
Email billing@esportsodds.gg from your account email. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
