Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, yourself, from Plan & billing. We ask one question about why, and may show one alternative — you can ignore it and cancel on the same screen. No phone call, no waiting on a reply, no email required. Cancelling stops all future charges; your access and API keys keep working until the end of the period you have already paid for, then keys pause. They are not deleted — reactivating restores your workspace.
If that page is ever unavailable, email billing@esportsodds.gg from your account email address — the cancellation takes effect when we receive it, and we will confirm.
The free trial
New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required up front, but it is not charged while the trial runs. Cancel at any point before the trial ends and you pay nothing at all — there is no charge, so there is nothing to refund. If you don't cancel, the card is charged $99 when the trial ends and your first month begins.
The trial includes 5,000 requests, counted across the whole trial rather than per month, with no more than 1,000 requests per endpoint and no more than 20 bulk-export requests. Requests past a limit return a 429 until you subscribe — subscribing from your dashboard ends the trial immediately, starts the paid period, lifts the allowance to 20,000 requests / month and removes the other two limits.
Pausing instead of cancelling
If you are cancelling, we may offer to pause your plan for one to three months instead. While paused you are not charged, and your workspace, saved settings and API keys are kept exactly as they are.
Your API access is suspended while paused— keys stop authenticating until you resume. Billing does not restart on its own: we email you before the date you picked, and nothing is charged until you choose to resume from Plan & billing. You can cancel instead at any point during a pause.
Retention discounts
We may offer 25% off if you are cancelling because of price. On a paid subscription that applies to your next three invoices; during a trial it applies to your first invoice. The price returns to the standard rate automatically afterwards — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to remember.
One retention discount per account in any 12-month period.
Your legal right to cancel
If you are a consumer — buying for yourself rather than for a business — you have a legal right to cancel within 14 daysof signing up, without giving a reason. Tell us by cancelling in Plan & billing or by emailing billing@esportsodds.gg; any clear statement will do.
When you sign up you ask us to start your access straight away, rather than after those 14 days. Because of that, if you cancel within the 14 days after you have been charged, we refund what you paid less a proportionate amount for the service you had already received when you told us — worked out from the share of your monthly allowance you had used. We refund within 14 days of your telling us, to the card you paid with.
Nothing on this page reduces that right or any other right the law gives you. The guarantee below is in addition to it, and is open to business customers too.
Our refund guarantee
- First subscription, first 14 days:if the product isn't what you expected, email us within 14 days of your firstcharge and we'll refund it in full, provided the account has made fewer than 1,000requests since that charge and hasn't broken the Terms. One guarantee refund per customer.
- Renewals:renewal charges aren't refundable, with one exception — if you cancel within 72 hours of a renewal charge and the account has made fewer than 100requests in the new period, we'll refund that charge on request.
- Billing errors: if we charged you wrongly — twice, or after a cancellation took effect — we refund the error in full.
- Outages:we offer no service-level agreement, and downtime does not by itself entitle you to a refund. If the service was substantially unavailable for an extended period, ask us: we may, at our discretion, credit a proportionate part of that month's fee, never more than the fee for that month.
- Partial months: cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the unused part of a month you have already paid for.
- When we may refuse: we may decline a guarantee refund where we reasonably believe the account was used to extract data in breach of the Terms, where the same person has had one before, or where the charge has also been disputed with the card issuer — a charge can be refunded or disputed, not both.
- Comped accounts: a small number of accounts are comped — no card on file, nothing charged, so nothing to refund.
How to ask
