The biggest ever PUBG event features a $2,000,000 prize pool

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Global Invitational or PGI begins on Wednesday in Berlin, Germany and will run from July 25th to 29th. The tournament is the first major event organized by PUBG Corporation. Prize pool between the 20 participant teams is set to 2,000,000 USD.

In practice, the prize pool is divided between the FPP and TPP championships. First-person perspective championship is played during the first two days of the event, while the third-person perspective event begins on the 28th. Of course, the same 20 teams are competing in both championships, so it is possible to take home both titles as well as the $400,000 prize money promised to winners. The most valuable player of each match has also been promised $10,000.
